		<description>I thought that was a pretty stupid response too. As a webmaster, I do think it&#039;s kind of rude for people to be blocking ads when they&#039;re enjoying the content, but blocking their browser is certainly not the right way to respond. Obviously there are some sites that go overboard with ads - that&#039;s a design problem that should be addressed. 

I think there&#039;s a lot of potential in donations as a way to finance websites. Remember last year when Wikipedia put up that donation drive? They got to their goal pretty quickly. A dedicated audience and a little encouragement could result in a decent amount of donations.
